Beyoncé is reportedly still “refusing to speak” to dad Mathew Knowles, after he fathered a love child with Alexsandra Wright, a woman 20 years his junior.
The superstar’s relationship with her father has allegedly been strained to such an unrepairable degree that it has caused management conflicts between the two.
An insider told the New York Post:
“Beyoncé was horrified to find out her dad cheated on her mum. She always looked up to him, and she is very close to her mum, so this has hit her really hard.
She is refusing to speak to him, which is making things difficult where it comes to managing her career. Some people at Columbia now think it would be better to move him aside.”
Wright is a former “Scrubs” actress and current branding executive. DNA tests proved that Matthew Knowles is the father of the five-month old. A judge ordered the music manager to temporarily shell out $8,200 a month in child support; a settlement that Knowles and Wright are close to finaling.
Knowles was married to Tina for 29 years, who filed for divorce last December.
Beyoncé’s representative said: “There is no merit to this. This is absolutely false.”
