News: Bollywood React As ‘Chennai Super Kings’ Crowned IPL 2010 Champions

It turned out to be as exciting an IPL final as could be. The match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians swung from side to side and in the end the team that kept its cool, lead by skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, were the winners. The Chennai Super Kings defeated the Mumbai Indians by 22 runs to win their first ever IPL championship.

Akshay Kumar tweeted before the match, “It's full house at my place today! Watching the IPL finals with the Housefull gang.”

Arjun Rampal had this to say, “Now come on Mumbai. Get the Trophy.”

Dia Mirza who was at an airport lounge tweeted, “My flight delayed! 4 D first time happy bout that! Will get to watch the MATCH now! Yayayaya! DHONI out! Come on MI! CSK fans attacking me! Hahaha so much fun! I'm enjoying this sporting tweet battle ;-) let's see what the master has in store 4 us. MI! MI!”

Arshad Warsi who had been on the Mumbai side had been tweeting regularly through the match. He started with funny stuff like "167 RUNS TOH BHAJJI AKELA BANALE GA...HAHAHAHAHA" and ended with "WELL DONE CSK I ALWAYS KNEW U WOULD WIN....HAHAHAHAHAHA bada hoke politician banunga ...."

And tthere was one star who had been supporting the eventual winners Chennai - Sameera Reddy. And she had reason to be happy post-match. Sameera tweeted, “We made it!!! Congrats!! Yay!!!!”
